I ask this because I see that on the SDN and Valuemd.com forums, many spend countless time wondering what school they should attend trying to find the one right school that PD's will welcome them. I go to a fairly new school that I'm sure most PD's wont know about. I'll do all my clinical rotations in Ghana Africa at a teaching hospital that is well known in Ghana. I'm also doing my first 2yrs online and I want to know if PD's will look at this and discriminate against me for doing my first 2yrs online.

Anyone?

Hi

It really makes a difference. If your school is well-known for its good graduates it certainly helps.

In your Dean's letter, make sure your Dean includes some background info about your medical school.

good luck
