Erythema multiforme involving the mucous membranes. penicillin, sulfa, phenytoin, carbemazapine, barbiturates, cocaine, and possibly COX-2 inhibitors.

2 important facts they didn't let me forget about S-J's... -Almost all drugs are capable of causing it (those mentioned are the most frequent ones). So the first thing to do is to avoid taking the last drug prescribed (prescribed more recently); -Some investigators suspect that S-J's is a part of a spectrum of diseases that begins with erythema m. and Lyell Syndrome: it all depends on the drug, of course, and most importantly the host's immune reaction to it.
