hello everyone:
please let me know if you guys know as to what the maximum limit for taking USMLE step1 test is?. i know there is no limit.....but as for as doing residency and all that......how many tries do we get and how does it affect???

Maa,

Sorry I don't have a good answer for your question. I just read your post and felt like I wanted to tell you to keep going, especially if you are an IMG.

I feel like this for IMGs especially because it's my opinion that your home country would not grant you the medical degree unless you were qualified. After that, I don't care what USMLE says. grin

maa..i know about 7yrs restriction before we should clear everything..but don't know about that.. :roll:

i know a lot of students at my school have already taken may be like 5 or 6 times. i just don't want to be going in the same path.
