Hi guys,
I thought I read that JFK had Addison's--hence the always tanned look (no negative feedback from cortisol production on ACTH). Looking into my BRS, it appears that these folks have atrophy of the entire adrenal cortex--right?
So Aldo, cortisol, AND the sex hormones as well are decreased?? It's just weird, because Kennedy was supposedly so viral, but then--he actually had decreased androgens?
Or did testicles make up for it for him (or anyone) then??
