Hi guys, I am a newer for step1--still collecting books. Can any of you tell me which book is better between Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously simple AND Underground Clinical Vignetles I/II ? Thanks a lot!

I would say Clinical Micro MRS....don't know about the other one!!!

use both! haha. i really liked high yield micro. i think it's a hidden gem. mrs is more entertaining (though hy has its moments, too), but it's also long, so gauge by how much time you've got. ucvs are very quick and easy to read. a good way to sum up stuff you've studied, but not good for primary studying (imho).

Thanks guys! Someone also recommended 'Medical Microbiology and Immmunology Examination and Board review'. Have an idea about that?

who is that by? if it's the one i'm thinking of, i heard it was fantastic for immuno but too much for micro.

it is by Jawets, It is good for micro and immuno but the micro part is too detailed so u can combine its immunology section with microbiology MRS(no immunology section in mrs), Micro biology MRS has fantastic tables that summerized the all chapter, very good for last week review, these days immuno is more important than micro anyway
