hi snigtha, about study plan , i can say u onething for sure...u have to customize it for u ....whatever infinite number of people advise, it is up to us to find out the one suits us... i can suggest u few things... 1. do questions from various sources..(u can find on e-bay,and web path and many other free sites) 2.listen to goljan lectures 3.read text from kaplan live lecture notes.. if u read 4 hrs a day..then do 2 hrs qs..1hr lecture...1hr text..split like this and keep urself active than a monotonus way..do see forums and discuss with friends..(u can get good fiends online)... All the best

Like usmleasr said it deends on how you normally study, I preferred to just read Kaplan and do the mcq's that are at the end of the chapters for my first reading. Then during my second readings I did the q-book/q-bank mcq's. If you can get your hands on them, I would advise BRS for Beh Sci and BRS or Goljan for Patho. Other than that the kaplan books are excellent. Oh and be sure to get the goljan lectures too. Good luck!

My first reading took almost 5 months and my second about 6 weeks with q-bank and goljan audio/notes. But really the 5 months for the first reading was way too much- when i started I was trying to do lots of other things like lippincott, brs biochem, javetz and other things which were really unnecessary- kaplan and the other books i mentioned are more than enough to get a good score. Plus I was really relaxed and taking my time- if you have less time there's no need to worry it can be done easily-good luck! As for FA, i read it after my first reading and doubt i would have picked up as much if i had done it before then, but some people read it before just to get an idea of where to focus on- so it's up to you.
