Can anybody tell me about it ?

Eye Response.

1No eye opening.
2Eye opening to pain.
3Eye opening to verbal command.
4Eyes open spontaneously.

Verbal Response.

1No verbal response
2Incomprehensible sounds.
3Inappropriate words.
4Confused
5Orientated

Motor Response.

1No motor response.
2Extension to pain.
3Flexion to pain.
4Withdrawal from pain.
5Localising pain.
6Obeys Commands.

So a table in ER will get a 3, no matter what!!!
and Asmi will get 15 anytime :-)

coma score=E+M+V

INFERENCE = If score = 3 or 4 then 85% chance of dying or remaining vegetative .
if score>11 then 85% chance of moderate disability or recovery .
Intermediate scores correlate with proportional chances of recovery
