hi!
does anyone care to explain the

pathophysiology (i mean how does it happen?) placenta accreta & previa?

I don't think anybody knows. Just a screw up in inplantation and progression of pregnancy. May have something to do with adhesion molecules and interaction models. But all we know about it is the risk it carries for the baby and mom during development and delivery.

it may b related to previous episodes of inflammation

placenta accreta usually occurs when the fetus implants onto an area of myometrium that has no basal layer of epithelium, most commonly due to previous multiple D+C's.

Placenta previa is probably just an error of implantation, resulting in the placenta positioned over the cervical os, rather than away from it.
