match the following treatments with conditions in different cases of OSTEOPOROSIS.......
1. Estrogens
2. E+P
3. ONLY PROGESTERONES
4.CALCITONIN
5. BIPHOSPHONATES(alendronate etc)
A. Post menopausal female with no other conditions
B.Post menopausal female with h/o breast cancer
C. 72 yo male with association of pain
D. Post menopausal female with TAH done
E.Postmenopausal female with TAH done , with h/o tx with estrogens, with existing loss of bone mass still, on a bone scan

That was a gr8 try and almost correct, losergirl............ .........let me finish it with wat's remaining there or needed......
A....2 (pt. still has uterus, so needs the E+P combination for protection against s/es of estrogen)
B....5 (pt. has breast ca.,so, we can't go for estrogens but only progesterones r not helpful for osteoporosis, they r added to protect the uterus from estrogen s/e s))
C....4 (calcitonin is said to reduce the pain too, so it's preferred here).
D...1 (there's no uterus here, so u can give estrogens alone coz there will be ni s/e s caused now)
E....5 (the pt. is not yet on biphosphonates, so,can try that still)
