I know nothing about this stuff but I am growing "kefir" a probiotic and I race pigeons. I want to give this to my pigeons and have just put some in their water and that worked, but I am looking for a better way. I want to dry the kefir grains and blend them in a blender then just spoon out what I need when I need it. Would this work? Will I loose some of the bateria strains? How can grow the grains faster? If I add other probiotics to this when I am growing will they add to what I have already? I am growing the Kefir in whole milk. Thanks
