I've spent about 18 months studying. In average study 1-2 hours/day during the the first 12 months, and 3-4 hours/day for last 6 months. I do have a full-time job and a family. Went to med school in 90' and haven't touched anatomy/pharm/patho ever since, so the first 12 months basically just helped me to recall the vocabulary. Used BSR for most subjects (lange for pharm and micro) and in cases big textbooks.
Last several weeks were devoted to qbanks, simulations and all questions I can find. Gone through Qbank IVQbank twice. A&LERT, NMS, BSS once. Probably have done >8000 questions so far. I think doing questions is really helpful.
