Hey, So I am starting to study for step II from Kaplan surgery, and it has nothing in it. Is it really enough (and all the other Kaplan notes)? The look awfully small after the step I notes. Even blue prints looks pretty miniscule, and I know people say they are enough. Is it true? Is step II that easy? Or does it mean you can't really study for it anyway???

I havent taken the test yet, but I am studying kaplan. I think they are enough if done in 'detail'. If you are doing kaplan, you really have to do them very well. A lot of important points are written as just one-liners, so be very careful not to miss small points. In my opinion these notes cover all the topics, but I am not sure if they cover all the hy points in each topic. So I am doing questions from A&L and other resources to cover up. Keeping a bigger book, like Harrison or CMDT, while reading notes, might be helpful. But problem with them (atleast Harrison) is that its not given in '1st step' or 'next best step' format. You are right, after step 1, it really looks very easy to 'prepare' for 2. In my opinion the prep for step2 is easier but exam is more difficult as compared to 1. But its only a guess, I d be able to say more about it after I take it. GL
