I saw many guys talking about the detail trinucleotide repeats, but I am not sure that:
Will USMLE test what trinucleotide sequcence is repeated in a given disease? Like:Fragile -CGG MYotonic-CTG Hunt-CAG

I did not see a question about trinucleotide repeats, much less one about specific repeats. I suppose anything is game though. But not more than 1 out of 350 questions. Look at it before each block, I suppose, just in case.

I've heard of a strange Q where they Showed a GRAPH for huntington's, % chance of dz (y axis) with certain # of repeats (x axis), and showed a pt’s # of repeats on mRNA strand (or DNA) and asked you what % chance he will have dz.
so I guess they would give you the repeat and ask you something about the disease? :roll:
