hi friends.....i am an img who is totally confused about matching!!!! i don't know how it even works...i still have my exams i have to finish up but knowing in advance is always wiser.....
when is it necessary to finish with step 1/step2/ csa/toefl to apply for residency......for any given year lets say....also where can one get such information......is there any help out there regarding this.????????? do shed some light if u can :cry:

You should have this completed no later than when the match comes out in March. You should be all set to apply for a license/visa at that time. Some programs will want you to be ECFMG certified at time of interview - different program directors want different things. I don't know of a central point for this information as it's set for each program, and even different programs in the same hospital may have different requirements.
