1) acid mucin 3) fungi (as well as PCP - staining time needs to be increased with PCP) 4) reticulin (it's a silver impregnation technique) 6) the Masson trichrome stains collagen blue/green (depending on what counterstain is used - methyl blue or light green)

Good Job !! both Rida and Sakaki - especially for Methanamine Silver - that it stains both fungi and pnumocystis - which points to an impotant fact that Pneumocystis is now shown to be a kind of Fungus [based on RNA studies] 8) Which property of Amyloid makes it Birefringent ?

perfect ! non-amyloid component is more specifically called the fibrillary component
