hey can u pls define babinski sign?and also let me know what happened normally if we elicit a respone on sole? thanx.

Babinsky sign is when you take an object and slide it across the sole of the foot, and your big toe dorsiflexes, that means moves upwards and the other four toes fan out, its seen in Upper motor neuron lesions and also is normal for infants in the first year of life

thanx rida.in normally person if we slide aobject the person's toe will show planter flexion. right.and what about other toes in normal person. thanx.

yes they will show plantar flexion and and the other toes also flex with the toe.
