Hi everybody!!
I got my score today in the mailbox. I got 234/95. 
I know the score is not superb but I think is enough for me.
I knew I passed last week since I had checked OASIS and after all this agony I finally finished with this. I just wanted to thank all of you for the advice, guidance and support. I wish you the best for all. :wink:

wat were ur scores on kaplan simulated cd and q bank? and how many days b4 the test did u take simulated test?

Kap sim 71%. I didn't do q bank on line so I don't know. I took sim test 3 weeks before.

what you did after ur kaplan simlated exam?that is in ur last 3 weeks before exam?
what about the q bank....how were you doing in it?I wont ask scores because u didnt take online.but what was r feeling...how were u doing according to you?

Ok my experience. I took step 2 six months ago 93/229. I studied for about 5 months after step 2, b/t 8 and 11 hs. per day
I used for step 1 Kap notes and FA mainly. Extra material Micro ridiculous(tables are great) and UCV( not really essential).
USMLE CD 46/43/44.
Last 3 weeks only FA that weighted almost 10 pounds due all the notes I pasted on it.
Though I know the score is good my concern is that USMLE tests are the only thing I have guys. I'm an IMG and I have no LORs, no US experience, no nothing!!! so I hope I have a chance.

great!!! I am a general surgeon too, here in mexico, i think you have great chances to get into surgery, eventhoug you dont have any experience in USA sistem, I mean that helps but it's not nesesary.

Hi toroloco, I am in Guadalajara, good for your vacation I'm envious, my only advice is try to enjoy the place as much as you can, cause those are really the most beatifull beaches all over the world, by the way what are you doing for a living in USA, any advice? cause i am looking for something there while preparing the rest of the steps

You're right, your score isn't much to write home about. Maybe you should consider retaking it, hmm?
NOT! Some people would kill to have within even a SD of that score.
So you better enjoy it--or else!
