alpha 1 has 3 subunit:
alpha 1 A
alpha 1 B
alpha 1 C

tamsulosin ia a selective alpha 1 A blocker used for BPH, overflow incontinence. the good thing about selective alpha blockers is that they DO NOT lower blood pressure, so there is no reflex tachycardia.
