adding to what mash replied: 2. bacterial products eg formylated peptides in E Coli 3c C5-9 4. staph cant be killed bcaz they are catalase positive and whatever H2O2 they produce is degraded by themselves. By the way, strp are catalase -ve so cant degrage H2O2 produced by themselves. So they kind of kill themselves

yes , thanks for your good answers ... but the complement component acting as a lytic factor for bacteria is C5b-9
