Hi Nims I'm a little bit ashamed because I have no idea what 'chopras' is so in that topic I can't help you About my total expediture for Step1- it's very difficult to sum up all expenses As you know the most expensive part is the exam fee (I'm an international student, so I had to pay an extra fee (100$) for taking the exam outside the US). Additionally I had to pay for the travel and accomodation in Berlin where I took my exam (quite a lot of money )I also subscribed for USMLE World Qbank (you can check the fees at their website- but it's really worth the money ). I tried to find as many books in form of pdf's as possible, to save some money on books. At the end I had only a few books: FA and Kaplan Notes copies I have no idea how much I had to spend for Step1 maybe about 1500$
