thank you DOCARJUN, XKL,TASNEENBANUM,DRSHABS, AND ADHY 2000
this my study/xam xperience, I hope somebody find it usefull
I studied for 5 1/2 month, then I have to stop for personal issues for 2 months, after that I retook studying for 1 1/2 months more, for a total of 7 months, but i think 6 month would be enough time if you don't have personal issues.
I can stand too many hours in a row studying my mind gets tired, so I tried to do 2 hours in the morning, 1-2 In the afternoon, and 1-2 before bedtime for a total of 4-6 hours daily, it took me a little more time during my first reading of all the material, I did three readings of all the material, the last one was easier and is usefull to learn that difficult topics that are easy to forget.
MATERIAL:
first aid 2003, this is a must have definitely
embriology: HY embriology(47 pages for is more than enough)
histology: HY histology
anatomy: just first aid, learn very well, mostly brachial plexus
neuroanatomy: neuroanatomy made RS
BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE: BRS
BIOCHEMISTRY: BRS
MICROBIOLOGY: MICROBIOLOGY MADE RIDICULOUSLY SIMPLE
INMUNOLOGY: INMUNOLOGY CHAPTER IN KAPLN'S MICROBIOLOGY BOOK
PATHOLOGY:BRS
PHYSIOLOGY:BRS
PHARMACOLOGY: LIPPINCOT, but if you are running out of time first aid is good but don't do just that unless you really don't have time

TIPS: BRS ARE GOOD BECAUSE OF THE TEST AT THE END OF EACH CHAPTER.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO KEEP YOUR KNOWLEDGE FRESH, the best way to do that is questions, the best questions are the kaplan's Q bank, 30 -50 questions every day, I had it for one month, just had time to do 1200 q's, starting after my second reading, always RANDOMLY,but if you can, use it for 3 month and after your first reading.

u can use last day before the test to learn those topics that are difficult to learn but easy to forget, from a previous list that you've done before, I had at least 20 q's from this last learning.
I took most of this tips from somebody who scored high,
the real test have some difficult questions some of them even difficult for a Ph in the area or experimentals,so don't panic, there is no way you knew those, so keep calm and go on with the next question and so far, in my fourth block I had ths first 20 questions without the most remote idea of what was that, but some others blocks were easier. gross images are easy, just one or two very difficult
that is all I can remember for now, please feel free to contact me about my experience

thanks.

hi ahdy:

actually I haven't read it, but if it is working for you keep using it, the questions about neuroanatomy in the real test are very simple, you just need the basics, and you can correlationate it with your score in the q bank, i think that is the best way to see if it is working
