Hello Board,

I failed twice in step 1 due to family problems.... third time I got 90 in step 1 and step 2 from first attempt 91 ...

I am really depressed. what are my chances to get through match? I dont have any LOR or observership experience... if it's needed how can I get one? Please any input will be appreciated. thank you.

Explain in your personal statement about the failure due to family reasons. The third time you got a great score so that shows that you can do it.

Thank you very much bbb. That really helps … can you guide me on how to get observer ship / externship? can you please suggest some hospitals where IMG can easily get observership? I have no problem moving to any place and do it wherever I get it…. Thanks and looking forward to hear from you.

"There is no central clearing house for observership or externships - call or email programs that you might be interested in participating in this and see if they offer these positions. There is no easy way to find one - unless you know someone who currently is in one and can let you know."
