Can someone juxtapose characteristics of these two important diseases?

Ill start:

Alzheimer: chromosomes 21,19,14
cerebral atrophy in frontal temporal and parietal lobes(decr.AcH)
neuronal loss also in n. of Meynert,amydala,substantia nigra ,brainstem
hippocampus, as Mash said paired helical filaments and(Abeta amyloid)
impaired higher intellectual function without focal neurologic deficits
Definitive dx is at autopsy

Huntington: chromosome 4(triplet repeat CAG)
atrophy in caudate N.,putamen, frontal cortex
decrease GABA,ACH, and substance P
SX -chorea, dementia, extrapyramidal signs

Also for alzheimers, related to tau protein, patients diagnosed with down syndrome living passed 40 will develoop it, neurofilbrillary tangles are seen.

Huntington - autosomal dominant, anticipation is seen.
