Hi everybody,
I joined this forum two weeks ago....at that time I was still waiting on my results (took step 1 on May 27th)...now I know that I have failed....BUMMER!!!!!! 
After two days of total desperation I feel better now....My original plan was to try the residency match for 2005....I can forget that now!
My preparation time for step one was way too aggressive, I studied hard for two and a half months (8 hours a day)...and therefor I think I did pretty good....
Anyway, the reason I post this is I want to know which is the best preparation...I did the Kaplan home study program plus Qbook and Kaplan Qbank...., the CD....
I already read about NBME....
Is there anybody, who passed step one and wants to sell his books?????
I want to try it again in late August or beginning September....
Please help me <:help:>

hi sabine.just wanted to ask are you really sure you didnt do the oasis trick too early.i know step 1 results are supposed to be delayed for those who did it after may 26th till july 14th according to ecfmg so i wouldnt expect ur result to be out yet.you may not have failed if you did the trick before your score got reported.

Maybe they do the people who failed first...who knows...
