i have a doubt in fluid compartments, there's discrepancy between Kaplan and FA,

Kaplan says, ICF = 1/3 Vascular + 2/3 Interstitial

FA says, ICF = 1/4 Vascular + 3/4 Interstitial

which one is correct?

ECF---1/3 of total
ICF --2/3 of total

ECF---vascular 1/3(ECF)
ISF 2/3(ECF)

( source is guyton and BRS)

I've seen quite a few other sources use fourths instead, so presumably, FA isn't wrong (ex. Renal physiology by Stanton and Koeppen). wink
