some say IL 6 ...but its a debate and last time, no one could prove it (on this forum)

IL 1beta and IL 6 form a osteoclast activating complex and is responsible fr lytic lesions in MM...

Interleukin-1–stimulated macrophages lead to the activation of osteoclast precursor cells and result in increased bone resorption(NEJM)

Yes guys,

I heard the same thing on dr. goljan's notes. IL1 he said. I read on FA that in MM, IL6 is responsible for the lesions. I'd put IL1 myself if asked.
