hi
i completed my step 1 yesterday. this forum is very much helpful. it gave me good mental support. i especially thankful to asmi, drjikngs,mash and all others. basically i am not active participant of this forum. but what i read of those experience are helpful.
in brief about my exam experience...
i got lot of picutures from pathology,histology,anatomy.
basically exam is easy and tricky. i dont know how much score i will get. but i can tell you that take nbme exam. that will be most useful than anyother exam. kaptest is high standanrd than mle.
i got all concepts from kaplan( most useful and effective material). genetics and beharioural scinece is easy on exam. FA is most useful. For pathology read goljan highyield. this material is most useful on step 1. every concept of goljan hield yield is useful. over all i am satisfied. waiting for scores

Could I ask a quick question: where can you get hold of the NBME tests outside the US (I live in the UK)? Are they downloable, web-based or on book?

hi
thankyou for all,
i got physio (not many questions but easy)
pathology ( many questions, clinically oriented)
anatomy( pictures of brain angiograms, gross brain pictures, pathway(line diagrams)
nbme test is available online, you can take from anywhere. just you have to purchase products.
kaplan is enough for genetics. just concentrate on probabilities.
