20 yo nulligravid abnormal menses. menarche 12yo, cycle 45-60days, lasts 5 days, 60ml blood loss every menses, on dmpa for 2 y from 17-19yo and no menses during the 19yo year. which of the following makes the pt's menstrual Hx abnormal?

She has been on Depo provera for a long time so it is OK not to have period...

Depo provera is the reason to cause hormonal imbalance, which leads to abnormal menses. I mean if she stops Depo provera, the hormones are already imbalanced by Depo provera. abnormal menses ensues.

hormonal therapy is a major cause of irregular menses once they are stopped of being used.
