Cerebellar dysfunction marked cheifly by disturbances in gait & tendency to lose balance while sitting or standing, due to disease involving the VERMIS.
Vermis = median lobe of the cerebellum, b/w the hemispheres or lateral lobes.

Cerebellar vermis lesions show as a truncal and gait ataxia.
