whats the mechanism of increased incidence of peptic ulcer in hypercalcemia?

Usually it is due to MEN I syndrome, which has:

Pancreatic neoplasm - Gastrinoma/Zollinger-Ellison
PTH excess-hyperparathyroidism/adenoma
Pituitary adenoma

thats fine. but i wanna know how hypercalcemia leads to peptic ulcer, read it somewhere but cant recall now

Hypercalcemia leads to increased gastrin release ....Reference Goljan

I think it is the same mechanism as Gul mentioned, because ca attach to calmodulin and stimulate pancreatic enzymes inclusing gastrin to be released
