Why patients become hypotensive in flial chest?

I don't know if flail chest can lead to hypotensition...but pt with flail chest got a huge trauma so probably there are some bleed going on and also aorta can be injured...so it is trauma = flail chest + hypotension

in flail chest there will be also loss of negative intra thoracic pressure which is one of the mechanisms by which the Venous blood climb up the veins.

Because of Pulmonary contusion +/- Myocardial contusion in the present of blunt trauma of the chest
