What are the rational that acetazolamide and progesterone can be used for central sleep apnea? Thanks in advance!

Acetazolamide causes metabolic acidosis, stimulates respiratory drive to throw off CO2, thus stimulating breathing.

Progesterone raises thermal set point, causing individual to 'pant' to cool off.

This is what seems rational to me.
