$ marvin well, renal were the most asked for me. At least 20 to 30. But most were doable CTs & MRIs are a must know. Easy way to score. Subdural , Epidural hematomas, Alzheimers will invariably be asked. ALS (lou gherig) slide was shown in 1 question. The stem of the question was helpful in diagnosis. I was expecting brainstem syndromes but got none. I found Molecular Bio most challenging. It was out of the world for me. and ethics, i was underprepared. because of its vagueness i just took it cool!! The least asked qs were from Behavioral(other than ethics) $ cortisolh Kaplan Qbank was the least i did. Did more of Qbook. Exam is a lot tougher!!! Kaplan Qbank < Kaplan Qbook < UWorld Exam is a mixture of the three!! NBMEs, i felt 1 < 2 <4 <3 I did 2 and 3 online. i found 3 tougher than the others as it had longer questions and harder topics tested. 5 & 6 i did not do all of them. did a couple of blocks of 5 and 1 block of 6. they were much tougher and more exam like. $ leishalexandra Usmle CD is nothing but the test material found in usmle.org . May be it was given in a CD long time back for those who applied for the exam. and so it retains its name. Download the fred 2 version as it is exactly the exam format. Alhamdulillah got my score today. 95/ 227 not bad, as i expected between 92 and 96. NBME 2 was closest! I checked my score late. was not anxious at all, 'coz i'll get what am destined to get!! Thanks and all praise be to ALLAH (subhana wa taala) thanks all for your support.

congradulations atwas... thanks for sharing your experience... i am waiting for my results too (i took the test on 25 july) pray for me! i keep getting flashbacks about Qs i got wrong and somehow i can clearly see the right answers now!!  as u said nothing can be done now! congradulations again!! great score!! well done

congrats.......plz help me out.from where did u do CTs & MRIs ? and is it necessary to go through kaplan dvd & goljan audio?i'm just going through d books,each & every lines & taking down notes ...revising them again & again.(along with F.A). does the DVDs have something extra that r not written in kaplan lecture notes & Goljan RR? thank u

It's a great feeling bidding farewell to step 1. $ marvin On seeing my score report, i confirmed my fears...It was mol. bio where i have performed low. Unfortunately i don't know any internet source for it, and i didn't do any. Just did kaplan. Friend suggested Lippincot, but no time for it. Pls ask someone experienced in handling Mol.bio. $ blackmamba Guess you too got your score. congtrats . alhamdulillah your score is great too. Keep it up. Best wishes for your future. $ painkiller Hey, keep your cool, you'll do just great.believe me !! $ as123 for pics Goljan slides are more than enough, including robins will be ultimate. https://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/thread/72129/ the above link gives you a wide choice. Select the best ones for yourself. Just 1 or two sites will be sufficient. http://www9.biostr.washington.edu/da.html I found it useful , but you may get lost and waste time looking unwanted stuff...so stick to what you want to learn. Just do the CTs MRIs for brain, thorax and abdomen, different levels, and important structures. revise what you are comfortable with. No new stuff. Best is FA and UW notes if you have made them. Goljan rapid review is good for pics and certain topics like renal etc. See i never did Kaplan notes after my second read, not even for revision. So it is very subjective. Don't get scared and stuff, just forget about the score and try to give your best........ Best wishes for you. $ beautybrain2001 I have given the links above. hope they help. Regarding kaplan DVDs,It depends on how confident you are and how you were in pre-clinics of med school, but i recommend doing them. Goljan audio, i didn't complete it, and i don't think it makes any difference, at least for me . It is optional. But its always good to do more if you have time. Good luck.
