I still can't believe this, i feel sooooooooo happy! grin
When i took the exam i thought that i will fail. It seemed really difficult to me (i posted a message about it). That's why it was really a surprise for me when i got the score report.

What i did?
I studied the blueprints (pediatrics, ob/gyn, surgery, medicine and psychiatry), for preventive medicine i studied the kap notes. I did 1 month of the kaptest and about 15 days of usmleasy. I also did the Pretest clinical vignettes for step 2. That's all folks.

Good luck to all of you!

Hello everybody.
Thank you for your congrats.
Well, to answer some of your questions:
I took the test on May 10, and began my preparation on January, but seriously, on March. That means that since March I studied everyday, 10 aprox. 8 to 10 hours each day, i used to begin at 8:30 am then stop for lunch at 1:30, restart at 4:30 until 9:30 (on sundays i used to relax a little). I began with pediatrics (actually i am a peds resident in my country, took license for studying to this test), then medicine, obs/gyn, surgery, psychiatry and finally preventive med. About 40 to 50 pages each day. The last 3 weeks i did the simulated tests.
I think kapnotes are very similar than blueprints, on some subjects more extensive, on other subjects, less extensive. I can't tell you nothing about NMS review, but I think any q book is ok (all are similar).
I've got the kapnotes from a friend who sold them to me... I don't know where else you can find them... sorry.
About usmleworld = www.usmleworld.com , but i didn't say i used it!

That's all i can tell you. And sorry again for this delayed reply.

Congratulation on such a wonderful score!

I would like to hear from you some comments on the pretest Q. Not many people are talking about it. I would appreciate very much if you could address at least several points about the pretest: difficulty, length, similarity to real exam or other practice qs (such as kaptest you had).

Thanks !
