Hi there,
joined this forum yesterday....great people here!!!!!!!
Any doctor from Germany here in this forum who is currently preparing USMLE step 1 or 2?
Any experiences about getting a residency position?
I am IMG, was in my fourth year for Clinical Pathology in Germany before I came over in March this year (marriage).
Did step 1 on May 27th, if I passed (don't know yet) I'll try to do step 2 in september or october this year, want to try the residency match for Clinical Path. for 2005!
Looking forward to any reply!!!!!

good luck on your step1.
i graduated in germany, too, started my ObGye residency and then came to US. got married, just had a baby, and prepare for the Step2 CK. i took the Step1 early this year.

Hi germinny,
sounds like a familiar story to me. I graduated also in Germany, started my General Surgery residency, had baby No. 1, came to the US, had No. 2 and did the exams this year.....I am preparing for the CS now. Where do you live?
