Took exam on June 7th ,my birthdate. I think I did ok,but you never know until you recieve the score. Id like to thank just to mention a few, asmi, Idiopathic, meg, Yulia, dxtxpx, oddisey (excuse spelling), *Mash and the others. My exam was schedule for 1 oclock pm so I didnt finish till 9 pm. First my exam covered all bases except general biochem and no embryo. AS you know they were 2 and 3 step question, leading to the diagnosis but asking the receptor or the treatment. Id say a good 50-60 percent was pathophysiology,15% was molecular or cell bio/genetics, 10% was behavioral including patient doc relations and statistics,10% micro and 10% pharm, anatomy was mostly CTs and MRIs.[When you go to exam Id say bring two forms of Id like I had, because one lady couldnt get in because of an expired drivers license-Security is tight-which is good] What I found most helpful not neccesarily in this order: First Aid-As they say memorize it. Goljan- His main materials are helpful (Iused the stars book+his notes) Hi Yield series -Is concise and to the point Kaplan is helpful-esp Robert Dunn for physio and the Biochem I only have 3 main reference texts to be more detailed Harrisons/Goodman&Gillman Pharm/Guyton Physio/ On q bank I eventually was getting in the 70's Thx to every one on this forum

congratulations, taking the test alone is an acheivment, I know how difficult it is to study and have a full time job. I have a question ,what source did you use for pathology slides and did you have a lot of radiological imaging?. Thankyou

addendum: I did 250 qs until I could not take it. (Dont neccasarily(spelling) follow me, because I swim 3 or 4 hundred meters everyday) Then took a half hour break for a sandwich, piece of banana and some mints. Then completed the last 100 qs. In answer to the qs: 1) I took NBME test, but I cant say I got above the mean. 2) for path I used some Kaplan pics that a friend gave me on DVD/some Web path before I found out it was online.( looked about 5%Webpath) 3)images were mostly CTs and MRIs of almost anywhere on the human body, especially above the neck.

This edition is OK if you absorb at least 90% of it, but Id update the pharm and Molecular biology part.
