BLEEDING TIME

Yeah, I was thinking about that, but I'm pretty sure that it is possible for bleeding time to be normal despite increased vascular fragility. All it does is make the person more susceptible to bruising, but platelet function still remains normal, and the interactions of the platelets with the endothelium still remain normal (sometimes - depending on the cause of increased vascular fragility).

well, this is what i wanteed to bring to disscussion. while studying i felt that BT is not increased in all cases of increased vascular fragility. i guessed that cases in which there is impaired platelet adhesion and aggregation (eg endothelial damage-dec vW factor or alteration of collagen-site of platelt interaction) BT is prolonged otherwise it isnt. can anybody quote some reference about it?
