what else is there to read for medicine that is not humongous?? any ideas? Step 2 books, you can rate and comment any of them. Regards!

ofcourse nms medicine is the worst book i ever seen....if u have like 3 years of prep for step 2 its a good :arrow: u can use 1 kaplan notes 2 blue prints 3 high yield IM 4 cmdt as a review of certain topics 5 ur own notes used previously 6 do mcqs million if u can coz new ideas dont come from text, comes from mcqs

hello there! i guess nms is not popular as it takes time to read....lately i am wondering wheather to buy the cmdt or not as it is huge.....but i can see many people recommend it........would u say it is necessary to score above 90? if yes which topics must we read or is it the whole book from page 1...please let me know....i am in the stage of ---to read or not to--- thanks

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH DELMAR KAPLAN NOTES IS ONE OF THE BEST THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN FOR STEP-2 AND REGARDING SCORES AS DELMAR SAID PRACTICING LOTS OF MCQS AND GETTING THEM RIGHT IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET A VERY GOOD SCORE ON EXAM.

althought NMS is lenghty, but the outline format can also be a challange. An alternative to NMS, that is smaller then CMDT is a book called Kochar's consice Book of Medicine. It is as lenghtly as NMS but much eaiser to read. I recenlty stated using it, and am very content with it.
