Hi everybody reading the forum posts! after a short but stressful 3 months I finally took the step 1 today. The test is not as difficult as I had anticipated when I began studying. With a regular job trying to finish the entire syllabus was next to impossible. but after the exam today I think just a "lil" bit more effort in the last 3 months on my part would have gone that little distance to make a differnece between 90s & late 80s. Anyway I am more than happy to help anyone if they have any specific questions. Just a lil emphasis... DONT GET TENSED. "They" ar enot out to get you! the questions are fairly straightforward & if you were me...pack your kit for a great bungee trip the previous day of the exam, watch a nice scary movie to get your adrenalline moving & hit the sac early. As for the evening after the exam... write a quick note to the forum & head out to the site for a much awaited dive into few seconds of eternity!

Hey Drkjigs! I am taking my exam last week of this month.I am not done with any question bank.I am doing it but kind of very slow as i am not very satisfied with my reviews. So i am simultaneously revising also.I think by mid of the next week i will be done with my revision. And then fully concentrate on q bank. How many days i will require to really do the q bank if i spend all hrs in it? One of my friend advised me to postpone the exam.Looking at my condition, i am in a dual mind state. I will really appreciate ur advise.

hey docarjun, all the people i've talked to have told me to not delay the exam no matter how tempted i am. however, we usually spend 4-6 wks in intense prep, so if you're spreading it out more, the plan might be different. there are about 2500 qbank qs, so it should take about 50 hours of test-taking time plus the amount of time you need to review it. i think that you have plenty of time to redo all of qbank if you want to, that is, of course, as long as you spend all day studying. good luck!!!!
