Has it bothered or distracted anyone when one is taking the practice questions and it tells you the right answer right after you select your choice? I can see how some people might like it. But i just took my first block and everytime I got something wrong, it affected my attention to the next question. I did not like it. I have been reading about "form 1" and "form 2" are these two sets of released questions for a total of 300 or are people referring to "step 1" and "step 2"? Im a bit confused. Also when are the practice blocks graded? Pleople have been mentioning grades in the form of...600 and 710(apperantly when you are really doing well), does this report come after you finish all three blocks? I would appreciate any info. Thanks.

you will get separate score report, their score report is 500 mean and standard deviation is 100. if you get above 700 your score is above 95.5%. i think this might helpful. thanks

I think what you're talking about is the CD that you get when you register for the test. This CD has 3 blocks for each step. The 'forms' that ppl talk about are different. These forms are from NBME-self assessment test. You have to pay $45 for each form and you can take 2 forms maximum. Go to www.nbme.org . They never tell you the answers to these questions, you can only get a score report in the end.. like 500, 650.. etc. What you are talking about is the USMLE CD, in which they only give you the number of correct answers at the end of each block. If you're getting above 40 in each block out of 50, I think you should be comfortable in the test. I dont know the correlation of the score with it. You can turn-off the option for showing answers after each question by un-clicking it (in the begenning of test).
