Pt w/almost total bowel obstruction secondary to presence of several small bowel tumors. Symptoms started shortly after taking a medication for GERD. Drug that caused this is?

a) Antacid
b) Famotidine
c) Lansoprazole
d) Metoclopramide
e) Sucralfate

Explain please!

answer is D. Metoclopramide because it's prokinetic drug and so would worsen the symptom of bowel obstruction.

bluestar is right, that's D.
besides, the others have no effect on bowel movements just "Acid secretion" or "Mucosal Protection"(sucralfate).
