The slots for the Step 2 CS exams are filling out fast! i doubt if i can schedule my exam in time as it is. I'm still waiting for my application to be processed. Is there a possibility they will open new slots to accomodate all examinees?

I am also worried about the same. I have just filed the application for step 2 CS and earliest I can get is after 2nd November in Chicago. But, I am worried if gets still delayed during the processing of application. Please tell me as soon as your application get processed

Iam also waiting for my application to process .
I have a Q if anyone can answer , they said once you get the permit in email ,you can schedule the exam . But they even asked for the month and center of choice while applying online . Can anyone tell me ,whether i can get september or october slot ?
I hope that since there will be 5 centers in total(from july),so they should increase the slots .

Hi asmi. You can check the ECFMG step 2 CS calendar if you wanna know the exams dates available for all 5 centers. As of this reply, the earliest you can get a schedule for the following center are as follows.
Atlanta-Nov 3
Chicago-Nov 3
Houston-Oct 27
LA-Oct 18
Philadelphia - will not accomodate IMG's anymore.
The application online asks for the month and center of choice for survey purposes. It doesn't guarantee that you get a slot on your desired date in your desired center.

Thanks for the info .
Well i think we can take slot only when we get the scheduling permit .It would have been better that they give you slot once you pay and file online application for Cs.
This is too much , we applied earlier but we are just lagging because our certification needs time to be done for cs and by the time we get it i hope there should be slots available @our center of choice .
