What is the reason of high-output state in thiamin deficiency? Thanks in advance!

Tissues arent picking up oxygen because they dont need it (no acetyl CoA to feed into TCA) and therefore you have increased MVO2...I think this is the problem.

Yeah. The high output failure is as a result of peripheral dilatation of arterioles and capillaries, leading to increased arteriovenous shunting.
So what Idiopathic wrote makes sense.

in easier words, Thiamine is a cofactor needed for many metabolic enzymes. In its absence tissues are "starved" and tissues "sense" it as a condition requiring more nutrients. so vasodilation results----> increased venous return---->inc cardiac output
