fr 1st 12 wks, preg is maintained by corpus luteum (estrogen and progersterone secreted under the influence of HCG frm syncytiotrophoblast) afterwards , placenta takes over and secretes these hormones ___________________ I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand. --Confucius
