hi
i took the exam for step 1 on 17th of may ,i remember doing silly mistakes that i cant forget tell now i posted a quote in this forum under subject hi can u give me ur experience of that exam as i m waiting anxiously for my result

So, we took the exam on same date. Mine experience was weird because I got a bit confused from very first block. Question were unfamiliar and I need to think a lot. It was not just one question, whole block was like that.
I remember when I marked Histoplasmosis and immediately next q comes with the same choices again and I marked Blastomycosis, and then another fire for coccidiomycosis.....were they 3 different cases with different diagrams or were they the same I marked? I was totally confused.
I dint take the break though and finished next block, took 5 minute break and then next 2 blocks. These 4 blocks have been real brain exercise. But, I felt comfortable in rest of the three blocks as I found quite much familiar Kaplan qs. Unfortunately, I believe 3 blocks r not enough to excel. Lets see!

thanks for replying,i remember no blastomycosis but i remember mucormycosis (non septate hyphae) i did it wrong inspite i knew i was so exauste i got cryptosporedium i knew that this is the only fungus i got ,i got three bronchogenic ca questions i got one only sure it is right the other two were so tough,genetics was ok but two questions re tough ,i have the first three block ok but the rest was as u re saying tough anyway again thanks for ur reply hope u the best luck

hi.i did my exam on 18th may and i'm very anxious too.i have only recently managed to stop kicking myself about silly mistakes i made in the exam,u know those types of questions where u know the answer but for some reason u give the wrong answer in the exam maybe because of the time pressure.hope the results get here soon.all the best to u guys.
