33yrs old, 10 weeks pregnant come for first antenatal visit. Previous child died of GBBS infection on 2nd day of life. Which statement is true? a) Most women with positive culture will have non-infected infants. b) Negative vaginal culture means her fetus will not be at risk for GBBS. c) Appropriate treatment for a positive culture can eradicate bacteremia d) Organism is pathological bacteria in female genital tract. e) Rapid on-culture essay tests are highly specific for the organism. Please give explanation thanx

a. Most neonate are not be infected even though the mother has + GBS; It is natural bacteria in female's vagina and they behavior come and go; even treatment can not get rid of them forever; however, I am not sure about e, hope someone can tell. Thanks!
