Teres Minor, medial or lateral rotator?....... FA claims it is a medial rotator but anatomically this does not sound correct. It inserts posteriorly on the humerus, which would make it rotate laterally. In addition, some websites have stated "lateral rotation". Any coments?

The muscles involving the rotator cuffs are inserted in the proximal end of the humerus and they are: Supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor and subscapularis muscles.
