yup kawasaki's is rightsmiling face good on you idiopathicsmiling face hmmm not sure if scalded skin syndrome includes mucosa lesions although the presentation of kawasaki's has the keywords asian & triad of muco-lympho-cutaneous. say does anyone know if scalded skin syndrome causes mucosal lesions?

  #5

Mucous membranes are not involved in S. Aureus scalded skin syndrome.

BTW, asian does not correlate with kawasaki absolutely, so dont be surprised if you see a young American child with this presentation.

Idiopath, Why would you Rx with Aspirin when the DZ is self-limiting ?

Huge risk of heart attack from coronary thrombosis. ANY child who dies from MI likely had Kawasakis.
