Hwo much is the toxic dose of acetaminophen in adults?

What are the factors that decrease/increase this toxic dose?

7.5 gms is toxic dose in adults
kids --- 150mg/kg body wt

age, diet, liver disease, and medical conditions such as fasting, gastroenteritis, chronic alcoholism, or HIV disease affect glutathione stores ===>increased toxicity

Inducers of cytochrome P-450 such as ethanol, isoniazid (INH), rifampin, phenytoin, barbiturates, and carbamazepine can lead to increased production of its toxic metabolite , n acetyl benzoquinoneimene.
