Hi guys what is the PIPE exam & must i take it for an int med residency?

pipe is the pre-implementation pilot examination for step 2 CS (previously CSA), conducted by the ECFMG.This is actually for the training of the staff of those centres newly opened.(STANDARDIZED PATIENTS). we THE IMGS can use it to our advantage and know what is expected in the exam. I have taken this exam, and fully recommend it to everyone with the NO US experience.
It is not a must for residency of internal medicine or any other residency.Only official step 2 CS is a must for the residency.
